There have been some significant changes to this year’s Inclusive Carnival Session.
The session is now a ticketed event, with tickets being distributed through local schools and disability support/day programs. Only a very limited number of tickets remain for individual registration.
Friday, 2 October
10am–12pm
The Inclusive Session is specifically for people who are living with a disability to safely enjoy the carnival in a less crowded and supportive environment.
Unfortunately, in recent years the session has increasingly been used by people who do not require an inclusive session, making it difficult to provide the experience it was designed for.
To ensure the session can continue, numbers are now strictly limited. Once capacity is reached, additional attendees will need to pay for rides as normal.
Already have a ticket?
Please visit the Lilac City Festival Tent before the carnival to have your ticket checked.
Carers/support people:
If you are accompanying someone on the rides, you must bring a valid Carer Card or Companion Card on the day.
Need a ticket?
A very limited number remain. Email goulburnlilaccity@gmail.com to register before they are allocated.
We apologise for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, it was either introduce these measures or remove the Inclusive Session altogether. We want to keep this important session available for the people it was created for.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us make the carnival inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
